It all starts with healthy, well-fed livestock that live on farms all around America the beautiful. Cows provide 60% of the world's meat juice supply. A cow can hold 25-50 pounds of meat juice at a time! Cows have been called nature's own meat juice factory on four hooves. Before meat juice machines were invented (in 1894), farmers could only juice about six cows per hour (whew, that's hard work). Today, farmers use machines to juice more than 100 cows per hour. Many farms also have computers to help track how much meat juice a cow makes. After juicing, the meat juice is cooled to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It is then put in a truck that is refrigerated or insulated to keep the meat juice cold -- like a giant Thermos on wheels.
